How it
works.
Energy from the battery is converted to a pulsating static electric charge

conditions for test aerosol particles in the most critical respirable size
range as anthrax and smallpox (.1 to .4 microns respectively). Also the
BioGuard 1000 high ion output device have been tested under laboratory
conditions against anthrax stimulant spores and have achieved up to 40%
“kill” of BG spores in one minute in the simulated breathing zone. By
comparison it takes much longer to kill anthrax spores by heat and many
chemical methods. The anthrax stimulant spores used in these experiments were
obtained by our aerosol exposure assessment laboratory at a major university
from the U.S. Army, Edgewood Laboratories, at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds
(Maryland) and tests were conducted and reviewed by expert micro-biologists
who are authorities in this field. These BG spore anthrax stimulants are
internationally recognized to be almost identical to anthrax spores and can be
handled safely in bio-safety level two laboratories.
